You listen at the stairway. You listen at their door. Their voices in the night they roar like thunder, like thunder. Stars will shake; you shake with the stars The tide pulls you under; you dive. The stars will shake; you shake with the stars. And when the tide will pulls you up, you'll rise. -----------------------------------------------

Like Lions 03:19
We drove from the badlands through dust and darkness. I slept in the backseat. The old engine sang. We drove to the airstrip in the grey early morning, through the gates and the guard towers for the boarding call. "Steel yourself," they said, "Keep moving." "Hold your breath," they said, "Keep moving up. There will be monsters. Be strong." We believed we were mighty like lions. We believed we were champions. Just like our mothers and our fathers told us, "Now be strong." We burst into the darkness. The horizon bent below into a pale blue spec of dust. The engines sang. Children in their quarters, wardens in the halls in the lonely, sleepless hours - the electric hush. "Steel yourself," they said, "Keep moving." "Hold your breath," they said, "Keep moving up. There will be monsters. Be strong." We believed we were mighty like lions. We believed we were champions. Just like our mothers and our fathers told us, "Now be strong." "There’s a new life waiting up through the stars. Take your brothers and your sisters, and go on." We believed we were mighty like lions. We believed we were champions. Just like our mothers and our fathers told us, "Now be strong." -----------------------------------------------

In the hush of the summer night, we’d slip out through the barricades to watch the transports arrive, your head on my chest, your skin on mine. humming in my heart humming in my heart every little touch buzzing particles of light in the hush of the summer night. Every bit of matter swooned, and every moment swelled beyond our bodies. We were big like destiny. And all the dangers at our door were no more. Living in the shadow of paradise, we’d whisper in the corners of the factories planning our lives in the hush of the summer nights. And every word I said every word I said every little promise we made - a particle of light as close as your head on my chest your skin on mine. Every bit of matter swooned, and every moment swelled beyond our bodies. We were big like destiny. And all the dangers at our door were no more. -----------------------------------------------

Cleanup Crew 03:50
Grab your bags. Grab your gear. Get ready now. Ten minutes to touchdown, boys. And if you’re scared, don’t want to hear your lip now. There's no stopping - no stopping it now. And if we do our jobs, and carry out the law, that’s jewels in our teeth now, boys. So grab your suit, your gloves, your torch, and your guns, just like your daddy taught. Everything falls apart. We build and rebuild and rebuild and rebuild. Everything falls apart. So turn the radios down. Turn the teles off. It’s just newsmen in the dark. And each one claims the reason the planets come apart. Was it too hot or too cold? Too yes or too no? It doesn’t matter at all. So grab your suit, your gloves, your torch, and your guns, just like your daddy taught. Everything falls apart. We build and rebuild and rebuild and rebuild. Everything falls apart. Grab your bags. Grab your gear. Get ready now. Ten minutes to touchdown, boys. Doesn’t matter what a mess they made. Nothing matters at all. Everything falls apart. We build and rebuild and rebuild and rebuild. Everything falls apart. -----------------------------------------------

At War 03:25
Our mothers and our fathers saw the new way rising. I used to hear them argue in the night. So each of us was sent away from dust and darkness - sent here to save our lives, but this isn’t a life. Come live for a reason. Come die for a reason. We don’t have to start a war; we’re already at war. Come live for a reason. Come die for a reason. Every day the transports come to fill those spaces that our friends have left behind - another generation, young like we were, sent here to save their lives, but this isn’t a life. Can you see the lights across the barriers shining? The city's lanterns glowing bright. Can’t you see the fuel that keeps them burning? They are burning us. They are burning us alive. We're already at war. -----------------------------------------------
